While the Holocaust survivor population is dwindling, the remaining survivors are aging and increasingly need greater levels of service. The cost of providing the full range of services that our area survivors desperately need are outweighed by the dollars allocated.
The objectives of the JCRC shall be to defend and preserve the civil rights of the Jewish community, domestically and overseas, and to promote its interests in relation to the community at large. The ABC’s of the JCRC are:
Advocate on issues of Jewish communal concern
Build, maintain and join coalitions to promote effective action and opportunities for community involvement
Convene the community in times of crisis, celebration and commemoration
