Teacher: Cantor Cannizzaro.  Jews have always incorporated the traditional music of the culture around them into their own folk and liturgical musical styles.  America is no different.  Join Cantor Cannizzaro as she traces the development of American Jewish Music.  We will begin with the ancient purim spiel and follow its development into Yiddish Theater, chazzanut, synagogue music, and into the popular camp music of today.
