Music: Beyond, “I had a little Dreidel”. Join Cantor Tanya Greenblatt for an exploration of Chanukah music, both ancient and modern.  Learn about the texts and tunes that add joy to this popular holiday.  The event will take place on Sunday December 3, 2017  at 4 PM and Sunday December 10 at 4 PM.  This event is free and open to the public..

Cantor Tanya Greenblatt holds a BA in Music, Cum Laude, from Brandeis University and a Master’s of Sacred Music and Cantorial Ordination from Hebrew Union College. She has served as cantor at Temple Israel in Tallahassee and had previous experience in Merrick, NY, Norwalk, Ct. and Tenafly, NJ.  Her most recent post was at Temple Israel, in New Rochelle NY, before moving back to Florida. She is currently serving as interim Cantor at Temple Beth Orr, Pompano Beach FL.  Her educational endeavors have been wide-ranging and extensive, teaching both musical and Judaic topics at every level.
