The Tampa JCCs & Federation is now seeking community members to host Shabbat and attend meals through OneTable.

Whether you can welcome 10+ guests or just two or three, your home can be the perfect setting for meaningful conversation and connection.

Potluck or hosted, themed or laid-back, you decide!

No prior hosting experience required; Must be 21+ to host.

Shabbat with Friends is built on trust and warmth, with each dinner lovingly hosted by individuals who are choosing to generously create space for connection and community on Friday night. Because these are gatherings hosted by community volunteers, we want to share a few reminders:

  • Shabbat dinners are independently hosted by local hosts who open their homes or chosen spaces and attended voluntarily.
  • The Tampa JCCs & Federation encourages participation and facilitates connections, but staff does not supervise, manage, attend or oversee individual dinner gatherings.
  • Hosts and guests are responsible for their own plans, communication, and conduct.
  • Dinner registration and communication take place through OneTable, a third-party platform. While the Tampa JCCs & Federation promotes this tool to help community members find and connect Shabbat dinners, we do not control how those platforms operate or how individuals use them.

Our deepest hope is that each table is filled with warmth, safety, generosity, and meaningful Jewish connection.

Shabbat Shalom!
