The Professional Societies Mentorship Program connects emerging and transitioning Jewish professionals with experienced leaders across Tampa’s business community for meaningful, one-on-one guidance. Designed as a high-impact, relationship-driven experience, the program offers personalized support, professional insight, and access to a trusted Jewish network invested in your growth.
This program is open exclusively to members of the Professional Societies of the Tampa JCCs & Federation.
What Is the Mentorship Program?
The Mentorship Program pairs mentees with seasoned professionals who serve as trusted sounding boards as they navigate career decisions, growth opportunities, and leadership development. Mentors and mentees are thoughtfully matched, within or across the six Professional Societies. This is a curated, one-on-one relationship designed to support real conversations about what’s next.
Please note: If you don’t see your industry listed, you’re still welcome to join the Professional Societies and we will work to match you to a mentor in the industry you request. The Tampa JCCs & Federation plans to expand industries in the future as the demand grows to add additional industries.
Who It’s For
The program is ideal for Jewish professionals who are:
- Emerging professionals looking for guidance
- New to Tampa and seeking meaningful professional connections
- Navigating a career transition or considering their next move
- Interested in leadership development and community engagement
Participation requires active membership in the Professional Societies.

Connection to the Professional Societies
The Mentorship Program is a core offering of the Professional Societies, which bring together Jewish professionals across key industries including medical, legal, financial, real estate, technology, and entrepreneurship. Membership in the Professional Societies provides access to exclusive events, leadership programming, and networking opportunities, and is required to participate in the Mentorship Program.

How the Program Works
- Join the Professional Societies - Membership is required before applying to the Mentorship Program.
- Apply to Be a Mentee - Complete the online application to share your background, goals, and areas of interest.
- Thoughtful Matching - Our program team reviews applications and works to connect mentees with a mentor aligned to their experience, interests, and goals.
- Meet & Set Your Path - Once matched, mentors and mentees meet to establish goals, set a meeting cadence, and define what success looks like.
- Ongoing Mentorship - Mentorship relationships typically run for 6–12 months, with meeting schedules determined collaboratively by each pair.
