“Selichot” means “forgiveness,” an important theme for the High Holy Days. The Selichot Service begins our High Holy Days season. It prepares our hearts and minds for the Holy Days ahead.

We will begin our evening together with a desert reception in the Buchman/Rachelson Social Hall. At 8:00 pm, Cantor Cannizzaro will present a Shabbat Concert of music written for the High Holy Days. Then we will proceed to the sanctuary for our Selichot Service at 8:30 pm. As part of this service, we will change our Torah covers to white in anticipation of the approaching High Holy Days.
