In 1990, Mark Bloom took on the task of arranging a Friday evening Shabbat service with jazz orchestrations. The result is a spirited and reverent mix of traditional melodies and modern rhythms.

Mark Bloom is a pianist, amazing band leader, musical arranger, producer, service leader, composer and performer. He will join us on Friday, April 8 on the Bema to present his outstanding rendition—Jazz Shabbat.
