Thursday, March 6•7:00 PM – Instructor: Golda Brunhild
The first hour will include a presentation of the film "Ciune Suragara," a basically unknown Japanese "pencil pusher" who saved THOUSANDS of Jews during the Second World War. Putting himself in serious danger, he personally arranged for the safe travel out of a warn-torn country just out of concern. He eventually died in oblivion but his story needs to be told. Almost no-one has ever heard of him, yet he is proclaimed in the "Ave. of the Righteous." Following a short break, Golda will present a brief discourse concerning the Jews of Japan.
