How do you build community when you’re an empty nester? Where do you go to connect with others when you’ve retired from work, and friends have moved away? For many Jewish women, the answer lies with Federation.
Women's Philanthropy is one of the most vibrant and active areas of our organization, providing a forum for women to make connections with the Jewish community while raising funds for the Tampa Federation’s annual campaign.
Women’s Philanthropy raises more than 33% of the annual campaign, supporting Jewish programs and social services in the Tampa community and in Israel.
Inspired and guided by our tradition of tzedakah (righteousness/charity) and tikkun olam (repairing the world), Women’s Philanthropy is dedicated to the continuity, connectivity and thriving future of local community, Israel and the Jewish people. We believe that the future well-being of the Tampa Jewish community is inextricably linked to the power of women's philanthropy, the fastest growing phenomenon in fundraising today.
Women’s Philanthropy provides an opportunity for every woman in the Tampa Jewish community to affirm her Jewish identity and inspire other Jewish women to establish themselves as partners in our community.

Women’s Philanthropy empowers an individual woman to make a gift in her own name.
We are. We Can. We Do.
We are a community of women.
Establishing a LOJE allows a woman the opportunity to go the extra step to endow her annual gift in perpetuity.
