Pressing the Reset Button: Transitioning to the Private Sector is a three-part workshop series designed to help federal employees successfully navigate the shift to private-sector careers. Whether you’re exploring new opportunities, updating your professional materials, or learning how to network effectively, this series provides the tools, strategies, and confidence needed for a smooth transition. 

Workshop Series Highlights: 
• Managing Change & Transition – Addresses mindset shifts, emotional challenges, and adapting to a new work culture 
• Identify & Communicate Transferable Skills – Recognize marketable strengths and craft a compelling résumé and LinkedIn profile 
• Networking & Job Searching – Build strategic connections, leverage online tools, and navigate through competitive job markets 
• Financial Readiness – Assess financial stability and plan ahead for career shifts 
• Stepping-Stone Opportunities – Explore interim roles that build skills, make connections, and enhance career prospects 
• Overcoming Roadblocks – Strategies for addressing confidence gaps, unclear career goals, and how to handle competition with friends/colleagues

Materials Needed:  A copy of your résumé for reference.

Workshop Length: 2 hours.  Please plan to log into Zoom 5 minutes early.
