Prinz author of On the Chocolate Trail: A Delicious Adventure Connecting Jews, Religions, History, Travel, Rituals and Recipes to the Magic of Cacao and Scholar in Residence will tell us about “North American Colonial Traders Dip into Chocolate” The Gomez and Lopez Stories 

In Colonial North America Sephardi refugee merchants  Aaron Lopez in Newport Rhode Island, the Gomez family in New York, and others dipped deeply into trading, retailing and processing of chocolate.
