“Heretics, Nonconformists and Dissenters-Role Models or Outcasts?”  April 12, 19, and 26, 7:30 - 9 PM.  Rabbi Betsy Torop will discuss individuals who challenged prevailing norms and refused to always accept the prevailing wisdom sourced from Jewish texts and history.  Abandoning God, questioning Torah, challenging authority are all part of our Jewish tradition.  We will address “who were these ‘subversive people’ and what do they teach us.  These classes are free and open to the public
