On Tuesday evenings April 12, 19, and 26, at 7:30 - 9 pm, Rabbi Betsy Torop will discuss  “Heretics, Nonconformists and Dissenters-Role Models or Outcasts?”   Individuals who challenged prevailing norms and refused to accept blindly the prevailing wisdom sourced from Jewish texts and history will be addressed.  As abandoning God, questioning Torah, and challenging authority are all part of our Jewish tradition, we will examine “the acts of ‘subversive people,’ and what they teach us.  If you missed the other classed it is okay come to this one.  It is free and open to the public.
