SEPHARDIC COOKING CLASS

During October 2017, Rabbi Troop will be presenting a three-week program on the Exploration of Sephardic Jewry. Refer to Tuesday Oct 10, 17and 24. In conjunction with this programming, we will offer a new adventure at Congregation Beth Shalom.  Join Sheila Fishman in the Temple Kitchen to discuss the history of Sephardic cooking, to look at recipes, and to share some insights into this exotic way of preparing foods. 

Most importantly, we will be preparing two dishes—Khoresht-E Hulu (Persian Peach Stew) and Sabzi Polo (Herb and Rice Pilou).  All ingredients being used in this class are readily available in our local markets. 

 

The cooking portion of this class will be followed by tasting, of course.   And what goes well with any meal?  A glass of wine!!  So, put on your apron and join us on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 2:00p.m.
