This Is Real And You Are Completely Unprepared is the title of a wonderful book about the High Holy Days, by Alan Lew, and it’s also the name of a class we’ll be holding to help us prepare for the Yamim Noraim (the Days of Awe). Come and discuss what this sacred time is supposed to mean, and how we can get more out of it by doing our own work of Heshbon HaNefesh (accounting of the soul, or spiritual preparation). Reading the book is suggested, but not required.
