Join us for a Chanukah Festival @ Winthrop Town Centre!

Featuring a clothing drive and Gelt launching tournament

All are welcome to join us for the 4th annual Chanukah Festival to be held on the first night of Chanukah at Winthrop Town Centre. As always the festival will feature the kindling of Brandon's tallest Menorah, Hot Latkes and Chocolate gelt for everyone in attendance, balloons and face paint.

New this year is year will be a Gelt Launching Tournament, in which all participants will get to create their own Gelt Launcher and then participate in head to head competition until we crown a Gelt Launching champion.

In the spirit of Chanukah and it's message of spreading light in the darkness, we are launching a clothing drive to benefit local families in need. The drive is being spearheaded by the members of the local CTeen Chapter - an international organization focused on giving Jewish teens the opportunity make a difference in their local community while having a good time and making new friends. New and gently used clothing - especially sweatshirts, jackets and sneakers - will be collected at the festival.

Bryant Martinez of The Winthrop Art Factory will be fashioning an 8' Menorah out of various metals which will incorporate all the clothing collected for the drive, making the Menorah a beacon of light in more ways than one.
