JCC Chaverim Herb Garden: My, how you've grown!

The new Chaverim Herb Garden was planted this spring as part of this year's community-wide Israel Independence Day festivities on the Maureen and Douglas Cohn Jewish Community Campus -- in honor of the Cohns.

This summer, campers attending Camp JCC will be tending the garden, which includes basil, oregano, dill and cilantro.

Weinberg Village is also able to "spice it" up a bit and use the spices in its daily meals for residents.

Thanks to the many supporters who commemorated the day with the gift of a garden. With special thanks to JCC preschool teacher Mara Gessele for the beautiful mural and to The Home Depot for the herbs.
