From Tampa and N. Pinellas: I-275 South to I-375 (Exit 23A). Stay in extreme left lane which becomes 4th Ave. N. Continue on 4th Ave. to 2nd St. N. Turn right at 2nd and proceed past 2nd Ave. N. Turn left into the Mid-Core Parking Garage (3/4 block).

From S. Pinellas: I-275 North to I-175 (Exit 22). Move to extreme left lane; go straight until you reach 3rd St. S. and turn left. Proceed on 3rd St. S. to 2nd Ave. N. and turn right. Proceed to 2nd St. N. and turn right. Turn left into the Mid-Core Parking Garage (3/4 block).

PARKING

Guests may be conveniently dropped off at the entrance. Street meters in the immediate vicinity of Tampa Theatre are free after 5pm Monday through Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday.

During weekdays before 5pm, most meters are two hour meters and take quarters.

You'll see a few parking lots around the theatre, but they are reserved for monthly parking. 

The closest public parking lots are both about 4 blocks away:

The City of Tampa Poe Garage - entrance on Ashley Street to the right of the Tampa Museum of Art and Curtis Hixon Park.  The Public Libary and the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center are to the right of the Poe Garage.  

PLEASE READ if you are coming to Tampa Theatre via I-275 from Seminole Heights, USF area and all areas north of downtown.  (The northbound exit via all areas South (West Shore, St. Pete, etc. is not affected.)

SOUTHBOUND I-275 ASHLEY ST EXIT #44 RAMP REROUTED to NEW EXIT #45A

As you're traveling South towards downtown, exit 45A will be immediately after the I-4 exit.  Both the I-4 and 45A exits are at the beginning of the 275/I-4 junction.  At the fork, follow the sign (to the LEFT) for Ashley. 

ALSO, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE MAY BE STREET CLOSURES IN OUR IMMEDIATE VACINITY DUE TO DOWNTOWN CONSTRUCTION.  IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH DOWNTOWN TAMPA, PLEASE CONSULT YAHOO MAPS OR MAPQUEST BEFORE NAVIGATING THE AREA.

From North Tampa via SOUTHBOUND I-275

From Interstate 275, take Exit 45A (see I-275 info above)

Follow Ashley Drive to Zack Street.
Turn Left onto Zack Street
Follow Zack Street two blocks to Franklin Street
You'll see the Tampa Theatre marquee on your left.

From Kennedy Blvd.
Follow Kennedy Blvd. to downtown. It will change directions at Ashley Street.
Turn left on Ashley Street.
Go up a few blocks and turn right on Zack Street (you'll see the Tampa Museum of Art on your left)
Go two blocks to Franklin Street.
Tampa Theatre is on Franklin between Zack and Polk Streets.

From Brandon
Take the Crosstown Expressway West to the Kennedy Blvd Exit #8
This merges onto Kennedy Blvd. off of the Expressway
Follow Kennedy Blvd to Florida Avenue
Turn right onto Florida Ave
Follow Florida Ave four blocks to Polk Street
Turn left onto Polk Street
Follow Polk Street one block to Franklin Street
You'll see the Tampa Theatre marquee on your left.

From St Pete
From Interstate 275, take Exit 44 and follow Ashley Drive
Follow Ashley to Zack Street
Turn Left onto Zack Street
Follow Zack Street two blocks to Franklin Street
You'll see the Tampa Theatre marquee on your left.

From Clearwater
Take State Road 60 East (Courtney Campbell Causeway)
Take Interstate 275 North into Tampa

Take Exit 44 and follow Ashley Drive
Follow Ashley to Zack Street

USF - Directions to USF Health Sciences Auditorium located in the Health Sciences Center on the University of South Florida Campus in Tampa

From I-275 Northbound: Take Fowler Avenue/SR-582 (Exit 51). Turn right onto Fowler Ave. Turn left on Bruce B. Downs. Blvd. The Health Sciences Auditorium is in the USF Medical Clinic located on the corner of Bruce B. Downs Blvd. and West Holly. Follow the signs to the Health Sciences Auditorium.

People lacking USF parking permits can definitely park at the Patients' Parking Area by the USF Clinic. There is space there for 150 cars.
Any one with a USF permit can park in any USF non reserved space in the surrounding lots.
