YAD Book Club

YAD gets literary! Join young adults for a first-time book discussion on Monday, October 18 at 7pm about "Never Let Me Go" by Kazuo Ishiguro, author of "Remains of the Day." Time Magazine named this book the best book of 2005. A movie based on the book will be coming out on 9/15. Location: at Panera Bread (709 South Howard Avenue, South Tampa)

Join other YAD members on October 24th to see the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play the St. Louis Rams. Cost: $35. Place your order as soon as possible to guarantee seating together as a group. A portion of the proceeds goes back to your local Federation.

Third Thursday Happy Hour with YAD

Tampa YAD alternates its Third Thursday Happy Hour between two locations in South Tampa. Each location will offer a chance drawing for a $25 gift card to that venue.  A business card is all that is needed to participate in the drawing, which will be collected by a YAD Board member at each Happy Hour at the beginning of the evening. Each location will offer different drink specials.  For more details contact Iris Pastor at 813.769.2813.
