The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nation’s largest organization of early childhood educators, accredits the Tampa Jewish Community Center Preschool. The JCC Preschool follows a researched-based approach that recognizes that children learn through play and through hands-on experiences that are meaningful to them. During the preschool day, children are given the opportunity to experiment, to discover, to explore and to express their ideas in an open environment. We strive to provide our preschoolers and their families with an appreciation and awareness of Jewish holidays and values, and a strong sense of Jewish identity.
The Preschool offers programs for one through five year olds. Depending on the age of the child, two day, three day and five day preschool classes are from 9:00 a.m. to noon or 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with before and after school care available to all children. Our school is open every weekday from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. We also have a variety of after school enrichment classes that meet after the close of the morning programs, Monday through Friday. These classes may include dance, computers, tae kwan do, gymnastics and more. In addition, we offer parent-child classes and a mom's morning out class, for children who are walking and between the ages of 12 months and 30 months.
